What's an Angel?

So I was flipping or clicking through my account info and the page where youyou’re your surgeons name it asks if you want an Angel. Whats that? And Who has one? What do they do?

someone who kinda "sponsors" you during your time leading up to and following your surgery...usually a veteran who had the same surgery and can help you out with questions. They alert the boards about your progress, surgery date and recovery....some even send flowers or sit with nervous spouses during your surgery.
Kinda like a "big sister" program...lol

I dunno...lol...I never had one...
Best bet is probably check your state board if you want someone close enough to actually check up on you post op and help you do your "supplies shopping" pre-op! Just ask around...lol...most post-ops are here to pay it forward anyway!
