New Drivers License

So I had to go get my new DL today since my old one was expiring and when my temporary ID printed out I was just shocked and I thought to myself I do not look like that!  And I compared my new one to my old one and was just amazed by the difference.  It really helped me put in in perspective of how different I look and why people do give me a hard time when I have to show my ID because they always say it doesn't look like me.  Anyway, I just wanted to share my little wow moment.

Thats awesome I would so save the old one ...But thats great that you have to get a new one since your notrecognized that does mean your doing something right

I completely understand where you're coming from, Rachel.  I have a bank debit card that has my picture in the corner and it was great because i never had to carry my ID when I was using it. But in the last six months or so, I started being asked for my Drivers License too.  Although I would point out that my picture was on my card they still wanted to see it.  Of course, my photo on my DL was before surgery as well so I still got second and third looks.

Luckily, I was able to get back home to TX last week and one of the first things I did was go to the bank and have another photo taken.  I can't wait till it comes in, hopefully this week!

i can't wait to get my new lisecense in a couple of weeks!!!

 

I renewed mine in January of this year, and for the first time DIDN'T lie about my weight!!
I think I've been lying about it sinse High School...lol

lol my pic on my dl was from when I was 18, I didnt want to change it when I got my 21 one...I was bigger then too, but in the pic I look thin. I am just happy that NJ doesnt put your weight on your dl like other states...3 more years till I need a new one...ahhh
