Posture
ok i know im still new and so far ive probably asked the largest amount of "stupid" questions and for that im sorry! but here comes another one... i have had terrible posture for years and ive been trying to work on it and its been getting much better but ive noticed that i still have a "lump/hump" on my back (bottom of neck very top of back, not all hunchback of notre dame style... i cant explain it...) but im wondering if theres anyone out there who even knows what im talking about, does it go away with weight loss (and of course my posture improving habits, exercise, yoga, sitting up more straight, walking "taller" etc...) again sorry for the barrage of stupid questions!!!!
thanks!
thanks!
I have one of those too! I know exactly what you're talking about! I hope it does go away! I did find (at a medical supply story) a brace that you can wear to improve your posture. I plan on getting one when I can fit into it lol. The largest they had was a size large. I hope it helps, you might want to look into it though
It's called a Dowager's hump. Yeah, a hump. I have it too, and so does my sister, who's 100lbs lighter, and my mom too. I think it might have to do with the "ladies" as much as the weight. I'm not too confident that it's going to disappear, but who cares, when we lose the weight nobody's gonna be checking for a hump!
