Told Mum What I Was Thinking...

This doesn't really relate to much that's going on on the board right now but I am just so relieved and happy that I needed to write it out.

I told Mum today that I want to get wls, which I had been worrying about for some time. I thought that it could go one of two ways: either she would be supportive or she would be totally against it. Since she has managed to loose and keep weight off through sheer determination, I thought she was more likely to be against wls.

To my utter surprise, she was completely supportive! She said she would make an appointment with my doctor for July (since I'll either be here at school or in Europe between now and then). She was quite surprised when I told her the waiting list is about 5 years here but over all very encouraging!

Like I said, this doesn't have much relevance to anything else... but I just had to tell you guys!

the larger your support group, the better...you can't have too many cheerleaders on your side!
