salt?

ok so according to my wii fit ive lost 4 lbs this week. yay, but im still craving snacks hardcore. worse than that? im craving salt, i see a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips and it takes all my willpower to walk away. im also trying to eat low carb/low sugar snacks but theres only so much fruit i can take! any ideas for snacks? (popcorn used to me my fav, but unfortunately they like to get stuck in my braces... lame) also any replacements for salt, like in food and recipes? i would always put them on my veggies and im having a tough time with it. i know surgery takes care of the sweet urges through dumping and so on but what about the salt?

...I mean - I actually had low blood pressure and had to find a way to get more salt unfortunately popcorn was my 1st choice. Other thing that was "OK" not something I'd east consistently was the "baked" lays potato chips. Otherwise...just be careful - make sure your blood pressure is cool first.

hmm are the baked lays actually not as bad? i never thought about that. whats funny is i have low blood pressure, good cholesterol, low-normal sugar, if i wasnt fat id be totally healthy! i always felt like i was alone in this, like im weird or something! glad to know i wasnt the only one! i love popcorn, and i dont even need it buttered (although who doesnt like buttered popcorn?!?!), i air pop it and eat it plain, yum. i cant wait until i can eat braces free food!

With popcorn - what I use instead of butter...is like I can't believe it's not butter spray which has 0 Calories - and tastes just as good. But be careful with popcorn - it can be hard to digest for some - and don't eat too much! Popcorn never fills me up - so I make sure I go over portion size rather then fulfillment.

Nuts!  Lightly salted or unsalted!  Just a small handful: almonds, cashews, yummy!
