Back from Spring Break

I went to Phoenix for Spring Break. Geesh, I would get so much more excercise if I lived out there. For the five days, my excercise included the following:

- walking around Sedona, AZ....lots of walking
- Jeep Tour in Sedona, AZ....quite the core workout
- walking around the ballpark/grounds for the Cubs Spring training games
- three hour horseback ride on South Mountain in Phoenix....yet again, good core workout
- walking in Old Town in Scottsdale
- Dancing and walking on Mill St. in Tempe (ASU college party bars)

So much fun. It's amazing how much there is to do when the weather is reasonable. Basically, you can't do much November-March here because it's too damn cold. And July-September are so miserably hot/humid that it sucks to go outside.

I'm most likely moving to the Phoenix area after I finish my degree. I just keep asking myself why I live in Illinois? Who the hell wants to live here?

 Illinois and South Dakota sound about the same, just a barrel of fun from October to April.....Geez. I do often wonder why my ancestors decided to live here and why I still do.  Oh well, it's the nicest today than it has been so far this year at a whopping 50 degrees!   Break out the shorts...and I'm really not kidding, the paper boy was wearing them.  

Your trip sounded awesome!!!  My in-laws just bought a trailor house down in AZ to be snowbirds from now on and I was thinking that it might be a nice little vacation house for me and my hubby when they aren't using it.  It's nice to know there's a lot to do down there!

I live in Buffalo, boring and cold lol. I can't wait, I'm going to Cancun May 12 and am ready for the sunshine....not to mention a tan lol. Glad you had a good time and were able to get some exercise in!
