So Excited!
Hi Everyone!
It's so nice to see a forum for people in their 20's. Question for all of you....I keep hearing that us "young people" don't suffer to much from alot of extra skin from the loss. is this true? have many of you on here had to remove skin from arms (or anywhere) yet?
how long did it take to recover from Lap RNY
I am really excited about this big life change. about 60 more days....I feel like my life is just starting!

Hey Ashley! The whole extra skin thing really depends on genetics and how heavy you were, and for how long. Also if you have a lot of stretch marks, it could be indicative of damage at the cellular level, and skin may not be as resilient.
I'm in the same boat as Mariana, I'll probably need to have my arms done, but surprisingly everything is rebounding well. Although, I'll have to see how much of that lasts once I've lost 100lbs.
As for recovery, it took me about 2 weeks after my Lap RNY to feel able to resume normal life.
