POST Op Pills

So, one of my WLS friends wrote a blog about a DS guy who takes 44 Pills!!!! Shocker!!!! Anyways, after reading all of the posts, I found that most take pills other than the ones required for the WLS!!! I was wondering how much pills/vitamins you take a day???

I take.a multivit. b12 and calcium. nothing else. and I`m doing fine so far.

my routin is.

morning: 1multivid + 1 subligual b12
midmorning. 1 -500mg. calciu.
lucnh. 1 - 500mg calcium
night- 1 calcium + wait 2 hours to have an other multivit.

if you find out that you need to take something else. let me know lol

Wow!!! thats such a relief!!!! You amaze me!!!! I was beginning to get all tramatize that i will end up taking 10+ pills a day! Right now, i dont take anything...But my doctor is advising me to take my multivitamin daily...which is no biggy!!!! I was just curious on the pill difference among the different WLS!!! It's not so bad.

3 times a week I take a sublingual B12
Daily I take a multivitamin and calcium  pill

I also take another B supplemental for my hair daily....thats all. Not so bad

The pills are expensive but they work. I've never had the healthiest hair but I have noticed I had to trim it more often. Read the reviews! I swear by this product!

hi, before my surgery when i was having all the pretests done, they told me i was low in iron and b12 which they thought was odd...so they put me on some liquid iron and I had to go to my local doctor to get a b12 shot...fastforward to after surgery my sugeon told me I have just have to take a multi-vitamin now....:-D

BTW i have issues swallowing pills...they just wont go down so my dietcian advised me to get fluodix which is just a liquid multi, works a treat

I take a lot of medication....

Wake up - 4 Gummi Vitamins,
2 Calcium,
1 Sublingual B-12 (just did blood tests to see if I require a shot, because it might not be working)
4 Folic Acid.
Protein Shake (if you consider it a pill)
Then work out from 6-9,
Then due to muscle pain - and spasms I have to take 3 Muscle Relaxants, 2 Neurontin
Then I drink the other half of the protein shake.
11 - Fish oil, GNC supplement, Omeprazole (for ulcer), Ritalin (ADHD)
Then I go to work - then 2:30 Nuerontin, Calcium, Fish Oils, Ritalin,
4:30 Protein shake - muscle relaxants (at lunch - work out in our offices gym)
5:30 Ritalin - gummi vitamins, 
9:15 protein shake,
9:45 benadryl(to not grind teeth), muscle relaxant, fish oils, calcium, nuerotin, ambien (insomnia)

and start all over the next morning. it's all approved - I should count one day and see....
