frustrated... can't seem to lose any more weight!
So I had my surgery in December, and I was doing great up until a month ago... that is when my weight loss basically stopped... I mean I am still loosing weight, just VERY slowly.... like 2lbs a week (and to accomplish that I have to go to the gym every day for at least an hour. I am just really frustrated because I was loosing about 6lbs-8lbs a week... and then it just stopped one day. I talked to my doctor and he says it is normal because I never had that much weight to loose in the first place. I started out 215lbs the day of surgery, and now I am 172lbs. I want to get to the 130's but this is now taking longer for me to loose weight than it did before surgery. I am eating under 1000 calories a day and getting in most of my protein and I go to the gym at least 5 times a week, but usually 6. What can I do to speed up my weight loss? I hate this, it is driving me nuts!!!
I am even considering just going back on all liquids like we did in the first phase of surgery.

It could be that youre not getting in enough calories. Someone on this board suggested I take a "break" I still ate like I was suppose to but I cut back on my workouts and within a couple of days I'd lost 7lbs out of nowhere! I guess it helps to jump start things. I was elated!
