Period Issues

Ok, so I started Medifast about 2 weeks ago, and ever since (I don't know if it's related) but i've had my period ever since.  I'm on my "active" birth control pills and I'm still bleeding a lot.  Has anyone had this type of issue? Will it stop?  It's a serious pain in the butt having my period for like 2 weeks with no signs of slowing.

I hear ya girl. I started my period in the hospital the day after surgery, and didn't stop for almost six weeks.

I talked to my OBGYN, and with rapid weight loss, our bodies get pissy with us. I use the nuva ring, and she told me to take out my ring, have a full blown period, and then replace my ring again. I needed to "reset" my body. It worked. I stopped, and I was so glad. You may want to talk to your physician to see what can be done.
