I got approved for my surgery and just joined the board!

I got approved for my surgery, and it is scheduled for March 20th. I will be getting the Realize Band. I am sooo excited! Looking forward to regaining my life! :) Has anyone on here had the Realize or LapBand done? I'd love to hear your stories and experiences! Send me a message or a friends add! :)

Hi Mariana,

THANK YOU!! I am getting so nervous though, wondering how I am going to afford fills and what not after my surgery but I will figure something out. I need to do this before my insurance runs out in the end of April, it is too expensive to renstate it would be cheapier to pay for 4 fills out of pocket then get the insurance coverage.

i had my lapband done on the 19th Jan 2009, so basically two months ahead of you :-p if you have any questions dont hestitate to ask. I will impart any wisdom i have. So heres to a successful surgery not too long to go now

Hi! Thank you! :) I am pretty nervous but I know it needs to be done for myself and others in my life. Being here on these boards I think have been helping me, not be as nervous. I am nervous about the fills and how I am in the end will be able to pay for everything but God will help me with everything that needs to be done! :)
