I'm back!!!
So...kinda been just out of it, well not really, I've been better then I've been in my entire life...
Anyways, so we're 4 months out, went and had my 2nd fill on the 17th and I'm down 20 pounds, which is great. I'm losing it slow which is exactly what I wanted.
Had a date last night, whoot whoot, and when I came home my mom was standing there talking to my date and just started laughing and said I have a waist. Very cute....The guy knows all about my surgery.
I've known him for years, he comes into where I work. We tried to start talking in November, but he was fresh from a 10 year relationship, but we're back at it now.
AND he got to fully experience the lap band...I was eating my cheeseburger and trying to talk and didn't quite chew enough so it got stuck, so I sat there, bleching SILENTLY and hurting trying to get it to pass, which it did.
I realized though that I need to let people around me know exactly what to do and not do which situations like that occur....And it was cute because he said...well are you choking? If you are can I give you the hemlic (spelling?)? These are things I need to know to take care of you...Very sweet...
And then we started laughing, he said he was gonna have to get his butt in gear cause "you're gonna be all hot and skinny and you aren't going to want anything to do with my fat ass"
Anyways... January 29th was a year since dad died...And surprisingly it went by ok...No massive breakdowns. I'm back to seeing my counselor every 2 weeks and it's just nice to talk to someone. Got my follow up appointment with my meds doctor on March 31st, so she can figure out what's wrong with my crazy ass.
As for the nitty gritty of post op...
I've started eating broccoli for the first time since I could make my own choices, and I like it!
I'm eating eggs! Yay me...I always felt like a dip**** for not eating something so easy and with so much protein...But I'm doing it and now I crave them...
My eating habit have been broadened big time.
Um....I dunno what else...
But I've missed yall and I'm sure new people have come along since I've been gone...But this biatch is back!
