Hummus, refried beans, mashed potatoes, yougurt, blended soups and chili, egg salad etc
dont forget that the blender is your best friend right now...try everything in it!

The beginning is difficult but it will get better. I, too am a patient of Dr. Krahn's and I know his diet is protein only until we lose 75% of our excess body weight. At the beginning I did a lot of sugar free pudding with protein powder, protein shakes and tuna. Like you though the tuna got old real quick as did everything else, so I went ahead and made a pot of ground turkey chili which was a god send. I am now 6 weeks out and the turkey chili is still my staple. And while it has a small amount of carbs the protein content is still better than I was getting with what I was attempting to get down before. I make a big pot and freeze it in small ziploc storage containers. That way I pull one out a week and always have something on hand that is pouch friendly and nutritious.

its crazy that all i want now is a salad or some sushi lol...things i liked before but never really "craved"!
I'm just glad it gets easier.
i tried some soupy/cheesy refried beans (about a spoonful) and it was heaven!

p.s. Pansita is the name ive given my pouch haha, it means little stomach in spanish =)
