Dealing With A Stall

I am getting really frustrated...in the last 2 weeks I have been gaining and losing the same 2 lbs. Usually I do about 4 lbs a week, so this stall is really getting me down. I don't think I have been eating any differently, I still take my vitamins, and I work out as much as I always did. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to boost my weight loss again?? Thanks for the help.

Maybe shake up your workout routine.  Do something that really challenges you that isn't your normal routine.

Maybe try some different meals and mix up the workout routine.

You might want to try bumping up your calories for a while... sometimes I body needs a little push, and a little shake up!

HEY girl i know its hard but hang in there. remember that your body its dealing with a lot of changes and its really traumatic. so your body its adjustin to your new eating and exercise routing.
and the best advice I can give u its to GET AWAY OF THE SCALE!!!!!! its your worse enemy at this stage!!!!. wait until you are near to goal. and use it as a tool to mantain your weight. now u don´t have to worry about loosing `cuz you are gonna drop really easly.
hang in there

I've had great results adding a few more calories to my diet during a stall to get back to losing! Just 100 to 150 lean protein calories a day usually does the trick...
have you been documenting your food intake?...any noticable changes?
good luck to you!

That happened to me about a week and a half ago. I stopped loosing weight for like 12 days. Nothing just the same 2lbs going up and down. It drove me crazy so I stopped working out and ate more...not because I was depressed or upset over it but because I had tried everything else and someone on this board suggested it and in 5 days I lost 7lbs! It was crazy. Of course I'm now eating less and working out just as I was before and things seems to be getting better. The food journal idea is great btw

That's so bizzare, how does eating more jump start the weightloss?

I have no idea but whenever I hit a stall I increase my calories and slow my workouts. It works everytime NOW but it never worked before the surgery! I only do it for no more than 2-3days and its perfect.
