Stall?
Hey Guys!
So, today I am 37 days out and haven't lost but a pound in the last 12 days. Its frustrating, even though I know it happens. I am reaching, on average, 55-65 grams of protein a day and usually about 600-700 calories. Honestly, there are some days where I can only get in about 300-400 calories, so I'm sure that isn't helping. I work out five time a week, twice a day, doing a combination of walking/jogging/weights, so I feel like I am doing an okay job with that. I'm just not sure what else I can do to get past this stall. I feel like I am losing out on some valuable weight loss time! I did email my nut a few minutes ago, so hopefully she will get back to me soon. Just was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on what else I can do. Also, any suggestions on others kinds of things to eat? I am getting a little bored with food and maybe thats part of the reason why I don't always get in all of my calories. I don't know!!
Oh, as a side note--last week I posted about dating after WLS and when to tell someone that you had it. Well, I ended up going out with that guy again this past Saturday. It came up a bit more, and I decided to just tell him. It actually went REALLY well! He was very excited for me (and you could tell on his face--not just his words--lol!) and asked a few questions about how I was feeling and such. He thought it was amazing that I took this opportunity to do something for me and even offered to work out with me if I wanted a work out buddy! So, that made me feel a lot better to not hide it anymore and to be able to just be open with it. I think we are going out again this weekend....so here's hoping! lol
Thanks again for everything girls!

16 lbs lost pre-op
OoOo I am so sorry your in a little bit of a rut. But as I keep reading everyone says it will always get better! Goodness gracious you are on top of that working out bit. I am really nervous about that part and making it a priority in my already busy schedule. Awww I am glad your date went so well. Seems like a nice and understanding guy! Way to go! Exciting stuff!

If you are anything like me, you will not lose anything for what seems like an eternity and then all of the sudden, 5lbs are gone. You sound like you are on the right track. I too exercise quite a bit and I've found that if I am constantly challenging myself with different activities it helps to get the weight loss going. It's not the most fun at times but it does work.
I'm happy that you told your boyfriend (maybe?) about your surgery. It's nice just to be open about it and I'm glad that he took it so well. Sounds like a nice guy!
