Health Net

Hi Everyone!!!
Im new here and im just wondering, do any of you have Health Net insurence?
If you do, how did you go about getting approved for WLS and what did they have you do/prove? Im hoping this will be an easy process, ive been reading some of your posts about how big of a hassel is can be haha.

hi lindsey wellcome to the board. here you`ll find a lot fo girls our age who are in proccess to have surgery or had already done. everyone here is great and so caring. you are gonna love it here.
sorry i can´t help u with the insurence thing I live in mexico and i had surgery in houston so my insurance didn´t pay 4 it. but here everydoby seams to have no real big complication with insurence. good luck

Hi Marina,
Thank you so much for the welcome. I have been on the site for about 3 weeks now and I love how supportive everyone is of eachother. I will start gettting more involved with the board once I get my feet planted. All of this is somewhat new to me

I don't have that type of insurance. But when I started looking into my surgery. I just called my insurance company and ask all kinds of questions.  Wouldn't hurt to call your insurance company and see what requirements they have regarding WLS.
