YAZ

Anyone take this ?
My dr. is putting me on these when I get off my period. I won't be taking them for birth control cause the tubes are tied. But to help with pain. . . .

I have been/currently am taking Yaz... whatcha wanna know? :P What pain? Like cramps and such? 

Yes cramps. Heavy bleeding.

I get 5 day heavy periods when I'm not on any birth control, w/Yaz it's super super light and not to get real personal but it's so light I can't even use a tampon now otherwise I don't know if I'm still on my period. I don't remember having any cramps except for I always get a slight cramp the moment I start my period and that one never went away. I do warn you though, like with most forms of birth control your body will take an adjusting period and for me the first month or so I'd randomly get spotting but now it's regular. Oh and there's only 4 of the sugar pills instead of 7 like most other pills so it's meant to give you short periods. Hope that helps, everyone's experience is going to be different so that's good you asked the board.

I took yaz for about 6 months, and I had to stop..it just wasnt right for my body, and I have bad cramps and all that i have endometriosis, and loestrin works best for me so far..i've been on probably 8 or 9 diff bc's in the last 8 years...I like the loestrin

I tried it for a little while but didn't like it and my doc changed me to yasmin and i like it much better.
