What are you eating?
Hey ya!
Happy late Valentines. Truthfully, I hate Valentines Day but I hope if any of you are a fan, you enjoyed it!
I was just curious as to what a typical day in the life of all of you is as far as eating goes. I'm following my surgeon's recommendations but I just wanted to maybe get some other ideas to shake things up a bit as I figured out tonight I'm sort of in a food rut. I could go to the eating/recipe boards but I'm too lazy right now and I like you guys better. :-)

First I highly recommend visiting Eggface's blog http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/, she has TONS of recipes and helped me when I needed ideas. Her recipes for protein icecream, eggbites, and tortilla pizzas really helped me with food staples.
At your stage out I ate...
Meats that were cooked in the crock pot (makes them tender) such as chicken, pork, & beef
I would have chicken and tuna salad
Cheese cubes & turkey pepperoni
Chili made with 94% lean beef
Chicken breasts baked in marinara sauce topped with cheese (naked chicken parm)
Turkey meatballs topped with marinar and cheese
homemade Low Carb tortilla pizzas
Weight control oatmeal
I still had a protein drink every morning for breakfast (still do actually)
Occassionally protein bars such as pure protein bars
With the proteins I would have veggies such as- broccoli, green beans, spinach, sweet potatoes, salad, carrots
I also would occassionaly have apple slices with peanut butter or berries and cheese cubes (I try o have protein when I eat fruit)
