New to this and will take any and all info!

Hello my name is Jessica I'm 26 from Upper Michigan and I'm almost finished with the process for my insurance to get the RNY. Any and all information from anyone who has had this would be greatly appreciated since this will be a new start to life with the unknown except the doctor and medical jargon. Hoping to meet some great friends here along my journey of weightloss and gaining of confidence and health.

my name is mariana I live in mexico but i had my surgery in houston tx a year ago 100lbs lost 20 more to go... and ist getting freaking hard to lose that!!!.
congrats 4 making the decision of having wls. you are gonna do great. i would do it all over againg if i had 2.

Thank you Mariana, I am hoping to find friends here that can help guide me through this. The good thing is that my Husband is going to have the same surgery too. It's kind of a little race to see who gets it first. LOL. But thanks again and I am sure I will have a lot of questions.

Welcome to the board, Jessica :)  I'm Renae, 4 1/2 years post-op RNY (had it when I was 26), and I know it was the best thing I ever did!  I will definitely be glad to help you along the way, however I may be able to.
