sooooo sad!!

i cant believe it, i just got a call from my surgeons office, he has to be out of town the day of my scheduled surgery and the soonest date to reschedule is for april 3rd. AN ENTIRE MONTH after my originally scheduled date....thats 2 months from now ahhh i've been approved since december...i just want to cry.
how easy would it be to change surgeons at this point?!?!
there is another surgeon who is covered in my network...omg im gonna cry.

wow- I'm sorry that sucks so bad. I would say it's probably not that easy to change- if the other surgeon has a lot of patients you'll probably just be on a different wait list. You can ask your doctors office if there's any possibility that people will cancel before that date and if you could get put in their place. sometimes they will do that but you have to ask soon, and make sure that everything is ready whenever. its a sucky way to plan things but it may be worth it to get it a little earlier. Or, try calling the other surgeon- mine said he only needed 3 weeks advanced notice of when I wanted to have the surgery.  Sorry that happened though, that is a real bummer.

Aww Sweetie!  I'm Sorry!  That really does suck, but look at it from this point, there is a reason for everything.  But do call and see if you can get slipped in if theres a cancellation!

Honestly,

I would call around and see if other surgeons have earlier dates..I'm from chicago and I know my surgeon offered me as early as feb 24 just 3 days ago...I elected with march 31st just becasue of my schedule but if not...we're almost going to be surgery twins..lol

I really really do hope this happened for a reason! I just called the office and am hoping for a call back TODAY because i noticed that my paperwork says my approval expires on 3/30, that just wont work if they're rescheduling me for 4/3

Everything happens for a reason...I know when you're going thru it, it doesn't seem like it, but keep you're head up =)

I had surgery scheduled on my wrist and the doctor couldn't do it until after it was going to expire. I called my insurance and they extended it right there over the phone so maybe you can call about getting it extended. Good luck!!!

oh honey, i`m so sorry.  but now you have more time to get yourself ready for your new life. donsn´t matter if is now or in 4 monhts its gonna happen and you are gonna be healthy and more stunning. so hang in there, and yes you can cry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and be mad  lol.
