Submitted to insurance!!!!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to tell you that I got a call that my surgery request was submitted to the insurance and now all I have to do is wait until I'm approved or denied. I'm so excited but really nervous. Does anyone have blue shield/blue cross and how long did it take for you to find out if you were approved or denied? Cross all fingers and toes that its quick and that I get approved!! Hope everyone is having a great night.

Yep, I have BCBS of Alabama and I was approved in less than 2 days.  Just check with them in a couple days!

I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield of WNY and I was approved within a day. You can call (like I did) becuase I couldn't wait. I found out before my Dr did and long before I got my approval letter in the mail

p.s....i have blue cross, it took 2 weeks for me to hear back =)
