What kind of exercises or exercise programs are you guys using?

I can start REALLY exercising soon and wanted some feedback about what exercise routines have yielded the best results!

Thanks for all the support :)

I do the boring ole elliptical and weights but wanted something more exciting a few times a week, something that made me look foward to going to the gym. Someone mentioned taking a Zumba class. OMG! it is SO fun! i still do elliptical and weights 3 days a week but tuesdays and thursdays and now Zumba days! Its not for everyone because some people dont like classes like that and i wasnt a fan of them but this class is so much fun and im learning some fun dance moves along the way :) i would for sure recommend it to break up a week of the same old work out :)

ps if you havnt heard of it here is an example of the class :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BILiNvLA-lo

I do a spinning class once a week and a lower body/abs class on the same day.  Then on most of the other days of the week I just do cardio machines, either elipitcal or some jogging on the treadmill.  I'm trying to get better about weights.

I really recommend a bike class..it burns a ton of calories and is actually pretty fun.

I work out at home..
I started doing walk away the pounds..
but that gets boring after a while..
now I am totally into " Turbo Jam "
I ordered the dvd from amazon.. and I love it so much..
I will be at work thinking about the moves and coming home to do them lol

it's totally fun upbeat and the instructor: Chalene Johnson is the best..
you can youtube the turbo jam.. there are lots of reviews and videos on there..

I go to the Gym 5 days a week.  I take step aerobics and step/sculpt classes as well as kick boxing.  2 days a week I also go to the gym in the evenings with a girlfriend, we do 35 on the treadmill at a brisk walk, 3.2 or so, and then 30 of machines, or her gym has a 30 min workout.

interval traning is really good for blasting fat!! for example if you do it on a treadmill, and your base level speed is 5 run/walk for a min then increase to 5.5 for another min and keep going up in increaments for five mins. not only does it tire you out you burn more calories, you can apply the same principal to any cardio machine in the gym. the aim is to do it for 20 mins

Ive started taking up moutain walking which works great on the thighs, butt, legs and its a great way to get a friend involved!

and weights are def. good to do and dont be afraid of lifting heavy weights because you will not turn into a man. rememeber the more muscel you have the more fat you'll burn

hope this helps and good luck on your training regiment
