home from the hospital!

Hey everyone... I'm home from the hospital! The surgery went well. I was only supposed to be there for 2 nights, but they kept me and extra night and another day, because I had a fever and my pulse was up to 120 while I was resting. They did blood work, a urine test, and a chest x-ray, and didn't find anything to be wrong with me. My Dr. related it to possibly having a heparin allergy which he said is really rare, but possible. I am 4 days out and feeling pretty good thus far! I plan on going to class tomorrow for a few hours. I'm taking things one day at a time. I was regretting my decision in the hospital, but when I got on the scale and saw that I had lost 5lbs already and still had a swollen tummy I started to change my mind!  Anyway, that's all for the update!

Congrats girl! Im so impressed that you went ahead with your surgery and youre ready to start back to class. Take it easy and be sure to listen to your body- if it tells you youre pushing it too far talk to your instructor and call it a day. Good luck!!!!

I  was regretting my surgery 2 for about 3 months i was so scared. and now i love sooo omuch my RNY.

 Congrats on your joining us on the Losers Bench!!!  I had the same doubts in the hospital recovering from my surgery!  I was in a lot of pain and it sucked... today, 3 months out, I fit into pants I havent worn since maybe 9th grade in high school!
