UPDATE: The Aftermath!!! - What do I wear?

I'm going on a first date. I need suggestions on what to wear. My brother says knee high boots are too forward on a first date...which was my original plan. I'm still not comfortable enough with my size to wear a dress. So...any ideas?

ok the key 4 the 1th date is to look stuning  without looking like you spended 4 hours infront of the mirror . so you need some sexy jeans, a cute top. and accesories. fix your hair and some natural make up. highlight your eyes. and get a manicure. or paint your nails.

Honestly I don't see anything wrong with knee high boots, actually whatever you feel most comfortable in is actually what you should wear.  What color do you think looks nice on you and also depending on where you maybe going you don't want to over do it either.  But a nice ruffled shirt, some jeans.  So were you set up on a date, or have you met someone?????????Pics & details needed after the date. 

I say go with the knee boots,some form fitting jeans,a fitted blouse/shirt,and of course accessories. it also depends on where you are going.

 I'm always about the cute jeans!  But as the pp said, depends on where you are going.  Cute jeans, cute top and yes, i'd go with the boots.    If jeans are a no, then black, boot cut pants are always cute too....and I'd still go with the boots... :-)

Wear whatever you feel most confident in that shows off your beauty.  The more comfortable you are the more confident you will be and confidence is attractive!!!  No matter what you will look gorgeous!  And you could go and get a new outfit that really shows off your great new bod!

Do you know where you are going?  I think knee boots are fine for a first date, with jeans, or even a skirt, that maybe comes to right above the knee.  I would wear a nice form fitting top, show off the curves girl!

So ladies update on my date! It obviously didnt go to well since I'm on here so fast to update you on it.  

As soon as I get there I get a funny vibe. I can kinda tell the guy is really not feeling me. We were suppose to meet at Starbucks and then go to the movies but he starts making excuses about being sleepy and not feeling well. So I was thinking fine lets wrap this up but he doesnt have the balls to say 'bye'. So we're doing that polite crap forever and then he starts to seem interested. So I just kinda play along but by now I'm soooo turned off. He then decides he wants to see a movie and I say no thanks but lets go across the street and grab a drink then you can go home and sleep. He seemed kinda down about it so I'm confused about that since he seemed not interested a moment ago. Then we get there have drinks and he still makes ZERO attempts to hold a decent conversation.  By this time I'm giving him crap to talk about and making it clear that a friendship is all thats possible at this point! Anyway the check comes and to make it clear I'm not interested, I tell the waitress to put it all on one tab and as soon as it hits the table I grab it and tell him the drink is on me. He seemed kinda shock by it but at this point I could give a crap less.

Then he tries to walk me to my car but I stop him. I thank him for asking me out and turn and walk off. What a horrible date.

But I looked cute! I wore this adorable black top that showed off my mmhmm assests and these fitted black jeans with knee high brown boots. No pictures because I couldnt figure out how to make my camera phone take a full body shot of me.

Well at least you tried!  And so what if he was a loser!  You got some good practice and hopefully the next date will be even better!  You def don't want someone that can't even carry on a decent conversation.  And I am sooo happy you figured out something cute you wear!
