Ok so the other day I posted a new topic asking for advice for losing hair and how to get my vitamins in when I can't get them down and this was the responce I got:  then I responded and got another responce.... please read this and tell me what ya'll think and how you feel about it!

He told me the money these guys were raking in was obscene. He also found out that the patients were not getting the full story from their surgeon. If you want to shorten your life span I suppose that is your business. If you want to be one of the 400,000 Americans who eat themselves to death I suppose that is your business too but I am a person of good conscience and when I see a wrong I speak up. I am sorry if the truth upsets you. We all make mistakes but when trusting people get led into something through deception I say something because that is how I am. As a nutritionist I can give you some sound advice about how not to to become nutrient starved. I an sure I have forgotten more about nutrition that most MDs will ever know. If you are happy with your choice and the consequences then let the chips fall where they may. I will suggest that you get a juicer or use a blender to puree raw veggies and drink protein shake and take amino acid pills.

are you freaking kidding me? How dare anyone slander our decisions to have or not have surgery. i feel that most go into this with tons of research and are educated. She is so full of herself it is sick. She must have been denied by her insurance and too broke to pay for it so in revenge she has sought out to hate anyone having sucess with surgery expecially RNY.

As for your question. Losing hair sucks. but it does get better. Mine slowed down around 6/7 mnths and i am regrowing. make sure you take all your vits and Biotin that is what i used.

Don't pay that ignoramous any attention. I have seen a few of his posts regarding these so call "facts". Tell him to **** off and block him.

What i really hate is people who become fanatical and think that they are the foremost authority on the subject and how dare we question that....pretty much on any topic, not just WLS.  

Man alive.  If this person is so "supportive of people" they are a big, damn hypocrite.  Obviously they have over looked the fact that there have been many sucessful surgeries over the years and just want to point out the bad situations.  

This person sounds like the have never had a weight problem......isn't it funny how most of the time the total anti-WLS people are?

Blow these hateful negative people off.  You don't need to hear stuff like this.  You have made your decision, and how you feel about it is all that matters.  Try not to focus on this toxic dribble.

As for the hair loss, mine started around 2-3 months out and pretty much stopped at 6 months.  The regrowth has now started.  Just keep taking your vits and water and protein!!!

Well I just wanted to thank those of you that have replied I didn't know if I was just taking it to heart or if it was just wrong for that person to even be on this site..... this site is for people that are looking to have it , or have had it and need the support of others..... How ridicilious. Why do people like that even take the time to WASTE time by not giving beneficial information?

BTW, PHYTO hair products (which are great for African American women and all races) have a very sophisticated hairline. The products are used by Oprah Winfrey and Gwenyth Paltrow. They have hair products for hair loss due to diet change, chemotherapy, and just old age!

They are costly but I've seen a major difference in my hair after using it for just several weeks. Contact me if you have more questions! Also, vitamins and protein! Very Important!

That's quite unecessary, to say the least. Truthfully, I am highly doubtful this person even has a fraction of the education and knowledge that they claim to have. They cannot even use proper puncuation and their spelling is degrading to those who are, in fact, a licensed and recognized nutritionist. It's very apparent to anyone that they are only out to hurt those most vulnerable... and who better than a "fat" person freshly out of surgery showing signs of struggling? MisterObjective, my ass!! For the sake of their screename, it would benefit them to look up the definition of "OBJECTIVE".
