Stupid stall...
I expected a stall... but this begun when I was one day away from being 2 weeks post up and it has gone on for almost an entire 2 weeks. I haven't lost a single oz in 13 days!! In fact, I've gained 1.4lbs! WTF??? I know all about the glycogen stuff and that the first lbs dropped is more water than fat... but this is frustrating beyond belief! I'm losing motivation... I don't know how much better I can do. I'm following my surgeon's diet plan. I've been off protien shakes for just over a week, but that's what it says on my sheet.
How long does a stall so early out usually last?
Can I honestly fail WLS? Especially this early out?
**forgot to add**
I am getting lots of water in and when I was doing weigh****chers, I lost every single week... and large amounts, too! I always averaged 3-4lbs a week... and now I'm stuck here. I'm starting to feel I made the wrong decision. I should have just sucked it up and paid for a membership to WW.

Don't worry! This has happened to me too for a few days and we have very close surgery dates. I even gained a little one day and wanted to cry. I'm not sure why that happened because I too, am following the diet, exercising, water, etc. I am now losing again, but very slowly...I might just be one of those people who does lose slower than others. I don't really mind, as long as I'm losing.
Maybe instead of pounds, you are losing inches? If you are using weights in your exercise routine that could be why but it's a good thing!
I know I get stuck in a rut sometimes when I exercise and do the same thing over and over again. I just started jogging the other day and that's really helped the lbs and inches. So maybe try something new?
I would say maybe call your surgeon too if it keeps up.
Sorry you are frustrated. I get frustrated a lot too worrying if I'm screwing up something. Hang in there and good luck!!

I didn't lose anything pre-op... I've lost everything from surgery. I'm still happy with the lose so far... I mean, 25lbs in a month! The most I've ever lost is 20lbs in a month... but I was losing every week. I've lost these 25lbs in the first 2 weeks... which is awesome! It would just be nice to see a little consistency.
