4 weeks post op

I'm new here I'm Melyssa I'm 20 years old  I had surgery December 8th 2008 with Dr. Micheal Wood in Warren Michigan. I'm not quite one month out yet and I've already lost 22lbs and 5 inches around my waist. But this is the hardest thing I've had to do. My starting weight was 266lbs.I'm 5'6 so my bmi was like 44. Hey Melyssa!!

Welcome to the board!  I'm 26 and live in Roseville and am having my surgery downtown at Henry Ford on the 19th (2 weeks...yay!!).  Congrats on the weight loss and loss of inches! 

I just wanted to say hello and welcome.  Its always fun finding others from the Detroit/Michigan area!

My surgery was also on Dec. 8th and I'm about where you are as well with the weight loss.  I agree that this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but it's totally worth it!   Welcome to the board!

my name is mariana i`m 23 and i had RNY 11 month ago. 100 lb lost. and 20 more to go.
 i know the 1th month is hard but you are gonna get used to it. very soon. and in a few month you are gonna feel like nothing happend.
