Final Pre-Op Appointment

Tomorrow is my final pre-op appointment an I am extremely nervous. My surgery was originally scheduled for October 7th and was delayed the weekend before surgery due to the fact that my PCP wanted some additional blood test done. The testing a follow up took almost two months and I finally was rescheduled. I am nervous that tomorrow I will go in and my surgery will be delayed again. There is no reason it should be but pschologically I am soo scared.  

I don't message often but I do read everyones post and the 20s board seems to be a lot more supportive then the Main board so I thought I would post my fears here. Has anyone else surgery been delayed and rescheduled? Did things go a planned the second time around?

I was never delayed, but even when everything goes according to plan you should ******vous wreck!!!...you're about to do the most wonderful and amazing and exciting thing for yourself ever!!

It sounds like you have a good doctor who is being thorough and covering all the bases as far as your pre-op health is concerned...you really can't go into this journey with TOO MUCH info...so maybe everything is happening in it's own time for a reason :)

Either way, THIS IS WORTH THE WAIT!!! And being young gives you so many many years to have this new life...so a few months, when compared to the bigger picture, is nothing!!
CONGRATS on making this decision and having the patience to wait it out...please let us know as soon as you do have a date!!

Thank you both for the encouragement. I went to my appointment today and I was given the clear for my surgery. Next Tuesday I will be heading to the hospital at 8am for a 10am surgery. I am soo happy and finally feel like I can get excited.
