Saggy skin?

I was just wondering if any of you post-ops have had problems with saggy, excess skin?  I know everyone is different, but I'm hoping that having wls in your 20s reduces the amount of saggy skin.  Any input you all have would be great.  Thanks!

Every person is different, and where my age is in my favor nothing can change the fact that I needed to lose 170 pounds.  I have less than 40 pounds to go.   My arms and stomach are not tight, but it isn't anything that I can't cover up with clothes.   I can deal with the extra skin instead of the extra weight.

I hope you have no saggy excess skin, but realistically many of us do.   Best of luck!

I've lost 45lbs and I have noticed a bit of sagginess in some areas  like my breast and belly but to be honest with you I've havent been working out like I should so I'm sure that probably has something to do with it. I've accepted I am going to have to start saving for some reconstructive work but I'm okay with that.

I also have a large chest and I knew those babies were going to deflate. I'm telling you I'll take this tiny saggy imperfections over being unhealthy any day :)

I just wanted to add my doctor also told me that age doesnt make it so you wont have sagginess just less. So everyone will experience some.

Oye to the saggy skin.  I started a 400 pounds, so As I lost weight my skin would become slack and then tighten as it got used to the change in weight.  Unfortunately, I did need plastics and had my tummy done June 2007.  I'll still  need more when money becomes available, but right now I'm just happy I can move and be healthy.  I would like to get the skin off my back, maybe tighten up my legs and check into the pubic area... breasts and arms would be pure vanity if I had the option :)

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.

Jenn, Like everyone else said it is different for everyone. My highest 267, but I sat at 233 for several years, but was 253 before surgery. I lost 100 pounds in 9 months and 126 in 12 months. My tummy looked like a sharpe (sp) dog. I just had a TT on Decmeber 19th with a little over 4 pounds of skin removed. I have gone from a size 22/24 to a 2/4 depending on brand and a 0 at Ann Taylor Loft and Old Navy. My arms are okay and my legs are fine, but the tummy and pubic area were not. The pubic area had a bulge and that has also been removed. Hope that helps a little~ Holli
