Kinda New

I've been on OH since August... but I'm new to this particular board. I am a 25 year old mother of two and I'm having surgery next week. I am Canadian but I will be traveling to Utica, NY for my surgery. I don't know what else to add, really... if there's anything you'd like to know, just ask!

WELLCOME TO THE BOARD!!!! I ALSO HAD MY SURGERY AWAY FROM HOME. I LIVE IN MEXICO AND I HAD SURGERY IN HOUSTON TXS. 
SO  I KNOW HOW NERVIOUS YOU ARE ABOUT THAT. YOU MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOMEONE WHO COME WITH YOU TO HELP YOU OUT. IF IS A WOMAN BETTER.  
AND IF YOU CAN STAY IN A PLACE THAT HAS A KITCHEN IT WOULD BE GREAT.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've been posting on another forum for a while now and just became accustomed to it. I started searching the site and found something a little more geared toward me.

I'm only going 6 hours away from home and I have my husband coming with me while my sister stays with my kidlets. I was supposed to have my Mom and Dad, too... but my Mom fell ill last month and has been ICU ever since. She's recovering slowing, but nicely.

So far, I don't think I'm nervous... if I am, I can disguise it well until it comes down to the whole thing LOL
