3 weeks after surgery and eating too much?
I was banded on Halloween, and I can eat close to what I could eat before surgery... way more than 4 oz. I have only ate to very full once, most of the time I stop when I'm just not feeling hungry anymore. But I think it's normal for some people, and I hear things change once you get filled properly.
As someone told me lately, everyone deserves the chance to fly!
Hey Scarlett,
Don't worry you are in what is know as "Banster Hell". Most people have no restriction when they are first banded the more fills you get the less you will be able to eat. It is still REALLY important to follow the rules that your doctor gave you. I didn't have perfection restriction until month 5 or 6 but I still lost a large amount of weight on that time because I followed the rules ate healthy and excersied. Once I got up to restriction things got a lot easier! Now I am at perfect restriction and if I eat the correct things I can eat about 1/2-1 cup of food and be done. I am one year out in January if you have any questions PM me. I started at 273 5'6 and weighed in at 162 this morning. Good luck you will do great! This time is really hard but you can do it and it will all be worth it!
Congrats again!
