Leaving for surgery - thank you!
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to pop on here and let you all know that I'm going to be leaving tomorrow to go down to my parents house and then off to surgery monday morning. I wanted to do this now just in case I don't have time after. For some reason I feel like I have to clean everything in my house before I go, I'm strange that way apparently.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of you guys who have answered my questions and been so supportive since my decision to do this in August. You really have helped me in so many ways and I feel much more prepared because of it. It's really a wonderful thing when you can give encouragment to a total stranger and I really do appreciate that. I'm still pretty nervous but I know I can get through it.
My husband is a computer nerd, so we'll have various laptops with us in the hospital so I'll give an update when I am feeling up to it.

Emily thats awesome! you're gonna do great. good luck! It will go by a lot faster then you think. Take a deep breathe and you are going to be fine. I was still a little nervous up until they took me into the OR. But I trusted my surgeon and new he would be amazing and that everyone was out there waiting for me. So if you just do that, it should help some. Again good luck!
