Hello everyone!!!!
Just wanted to say hi. i have been quietly stalking these boards for months now while going through the process of getting all my requirements for my surgrey. Well today was a good day. My doctors office sent in for insurance approval monday afternoon and i got a call today (thursday) afternoon from the insurance comany that i was approved. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I had my first visit with my doctor September 27th, so things have gone pretty quickly. I will be scheduling my surgery tomorrow, the woman was not in the office today to do it.
Also i wanted to thank everyone on the boards, reading all the posts and advice you have given people made this process a little less scary. except for my doctor i really had no one to talk o about this whole process. You have also made the surgrey seem alot less terrifying. dont get me wrong i know all the pros and cons but you have put my mind at ease and i know i can handle everything that will come my way. hell i have delt with being the fat girl for 22 years so this should be a sugar free cake walk.

Congratulations on your approval! This board and this website was a God-send for me. I mean it's everything you need to know about WLS on one site! These people deserve a reward. I'm glad you've decided to have the surgery and are in the process of having it done. Keep reading up and doing your research and you'll have a speedy recovery! Let us know when ur date is!
