new to OH need young WLS friends

hello there friends, i am new to this site and need to talk to some young people who have had the surgery. i went to a support group meeting and i was the youngest person there! i am 21 and really would like to get feedback from people who are young and what kind of stuff they went through in the transition. hit me up! thanks

Hi, i'm 27 and I had my surgery on August 7th of this year. I've lost 87 pounds since surgery & 131 pounds overall! i'll be happy to talk to you about my experiences and answer your questions to the best of my ability. Have a great day! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Which one do you go to?  When I'm not working or at school I head to the one by Memorial.  I adore the ladies there, even if they're old enough to my mother/aunt/granny :)

I'm in Livingston and going to school in both Modesto and Merced next semester, woot woot!

Hi, I'm Patty.  I'm 28, and i just had surgery this week.  I had the VSG, and so far so good.  I was out of the hospital the next day, and did not even have to take any pain meds since discharge.  I am loving Dr. Jossart right about now!  If you have any questions about VSG just let me know :)

Welcome, I am 26 and just had the RNY about a month ago! I feel great, defiantly the best choice I have made in a while!!!!!

Welcome! I know what you mean about being the youngest! I have about 30 WLS friends locally and I am one of the youngest. Oh well! :) They all say they wish they would have done it at my age, lol.

Feedback? I was really nervous to get WLS, but after getting my band 6 months ago, I am down 73lbs. I couldn't ask for a happier life!
