10 Weeks Out - How Much Should I Be Eating?
Tonight I cooked some chicken in a frontera cooking sauce until it started to pull apart and I added a can of black beans to the mix. I ate about 1/2 c. of that (it was stew consistency) with about 1/2 c. of salad greens with a sprinkling of pumpkin seeds and some goat cheese crumbles. I feel a "leetle" too full but am not uncomfortable. Should I be able to eat this much 10 weeks out?
At 10 weeks out my surgeon/NUTs guildeines were meals to be 1/4th cup to 1/2 cup total volume - so 2-4oz max. Keep in mind you are still healing.. it took me until about 5/6 months to really tell when I was full or not - I had to keep weighing/measuring for the first 6 months. Should you be able to eat that much? Hard to say... salad doesnt raelly take up much space - just make sure you are following surgeon/NUTs guidelines when it comes to meal volume.
