Wow, so I've only lost 20 pounds since surgery, but I've lost 40 total included my preop diet.  The last 2 weeks I've just noticed I'm receiving a lot more attention, especially from guys.  I dont feel like I look all that different, but I guess I do.  LOL  But the thing is, I've had friends having to point out that guys are hitting on me, it's crazy.  I'm not used to this, and thus I'm completely clueless about the whole thing.  Yesterday I went to a flag football tourny that my church was having and was talking to my best guy friend and this guy walks up that was on his team.  Well apparently, my friend didnt know him, this guy had just been randomly put on their team.  So when he came up and started talking I thought he was coming to talk to my friend.  Well my friend informed me tonight that he wa****ting on me and I was flabbergasted!  He pointed out to me that he came over and while talking he never took his eyes off me, even when my friend was talking to him,  LOL  I never even realized it.

I dont really know what the point of this is, except I'm still having a hard time accepting that guys might actually be finding me attractive, because every guy I've dated in the past have been complete douchebags!  LOL

Is anyone else going through this and chalking new found attention up to flukes!??!?!

I really understand how you feel. Im 19 months out and I still am not use to it. I still see myself how I use to be. I have lost 210lbs it's a hard thing to deal with, at least for me.  The advice that my friends give me is enjoy all the attention you get and just have fun but be safe.I am getting better to adjusting to my new self. I do have my ups and downs. But you got to admit it does make you feel good with the attention you get. Of course you will always come across douchebags!! LOL. Thats my fave word that I use in reference to Men. I just love it.
Best of Luck

It really is amazing when people- both male and female finally realize you're alive.  Love it all :)

My only words of wisdom, though, is beee safe.  I got swirled up in all the attention and was bad, very irresponsible over six months.  I'm just now getting everything back in order and patching up the good ol' reputation... told you I was bad lol.

So now I'm off the soap box and get out there and have some fun, baby!

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.
