*sigh* maybe someone can relate

My fiance and I like to get professional pics done every year or so. Well today was not good for my self image. I don't have a horrible self image. I know I'm a bigger girl, but I've always accepted it...dressed for my size, etc. Well today during the picture session I was asked if I wanted any pregnancy photos followed by..."you are pregnant right?" What a nice blow. I carry a good chunk of my weight in my waist. We only ordered pics that showed me from the chest up because after that I couldn't see anything but my stomach in the other photos. *cry*

 OMG, I would be so angry.  That is like the most untactful thing anyone could ever say.  I'm so sorry they did that to you.  I would complain, for sure and never go back there again and tell them exactly why.   I  hate getting pics taken of myself and we have never taken family pics since my son has been born because of it.  I'm waiting until after surgery to do it.  Wow...just wow, that's unbelievably rude.  I would have punched them...hard.  

I was in shock and then kind of depressed so anger didn't set in. I guess I could see why she would think that though. oh well I guess. just more motivation to lose the weight. as if my health problems weren't enough.

sorry to hear you're uncomfortable taking pics...hopefully you'll get some done after your surgery...pictures are great memories.

I carry all my weight in my belly too, so I've gotten than too, just remember people are IDIOTS!!

That's terribly disgusting.  I would definately speak to customer service about her lack of sensitivity and taste.

Does she make comments regarding other people and issues not related to weight?  Oye, my blood is curling.  I'm sorry honey.
