It's done

I'm recovering in this beautiful room wth my sister. Everything went great. No pain! I'm sure the morphine has something to do with that. Any suggestions on how to get this gas out of me? I will update you all as soon as possible. Thanks for the well wishes.

congrats on everything girl! prayers are your way for a healthy and speedy recovery! as for the gas - get up and walk as much as you can!!! it really helps. then when you get home, after walking a heating pad will help as well!

Yay!  you go girl!  I used gas x for a few weeks after surgery, the chewable kind.

Yeah! Congrats....Thank God you don't have any pain...Gas...sucks! I'm five days out and still pretty gasy, at least it doesn't stink though! Last night I finally broke down and bought some Malox, and it helped big time!

So I spoke a little too soon. There is a quite a bit of pain but nothing unbearable and as the days go by its slowly getting better. They took me off the morphine the next day when they kept asking my pain level and I responded with "What pain?"

I've posted more on my blog but thanks for the kind words everyone. They've truly lifted my spirits and reminded me why I chose to make this change for the better,
