help....

I need to lose some weight fast my next nut appointment is Wednesday... ANy Ideas how I can do this.... I have lost 12 just doing what she told me to do... I try and exersize everday if not then everyother day... SHe doesnt want me to do any protien drinks or slim fast... Just plain old food... (high PRotien).. She has me at 1300-1500 cals a day and I have been around 1300-1400... Should I knock it down a little?  I have met all the necessary req appointments and losing my last 17lbs is what i have left... so if anyone has any ideas... should I only consume 1000-1200 cals a day?  I just dont know...

Don't by any means bring your calories down especially if you are exercising!!!! You might go all the way to 1500 a few days...if you bring your calories below the amount she gave you your body will freak out and go into starvation mode and hold on to everything you give it. Stick with the high protein and keep exercising...bump your calories up just a little (like 1450-1475 or so) and you should see some results. Remember food is a fuel for our bodies if you don't give it enough it will think you are starving it...Hope this helps and Good luck!!

Keep a detailed food diary and exercise log so that you can show your nut that you are following her recomendations, and this is the amount you are losing. This might show 1. that you are willing to stick to the changes, even to the point of keeping detailed records, and
2. That you really do need WLS because diet and exercise alone just arn't doing it.
