HELP all I want to do is eat Halloween candy
two things may help:
1. Limit the exposure to it- every time you see it, talk about it, walk by it, you are constantly reminding yourself that you can't have it, and you want it, and the denial is no fun. Don't let yourself think about it. when the idea comes up, think about what you can have, or change the subject
2. Remember that it really isn't about cannot have and about deprivation. you CAN have that chocolate halloween candy, and that's often what one piece can prove. But remember, its your decision, and you are into chosing things that are better for you- I know this is kinda a psychology trick but it's looking at it in a different perspective. not, I CAN'T but, I don't want to because my bigger goals matter so much to me.
good luck!
I haven't had candy yet (since my surgery in May). I don't know about you, but I don't trust myself to just have one yet and a lot of people say the more carbs you eat the more you want. Especially simple sugars. But at the same time you don't want to feel deprived. Make a plan and stick with it, you can do it!!!

As a side note I also upped my exercise routine a bit to off set all the delicious candy corn I have eaten! lol
