Feeling a lot like a science experiment today
Wow, I feel like I've been through the ringer today. I had the second part of my sleep study last night. I had to sleep with the mask... hated it. I woke up from there and headed to have my gallbladder ultrasound, chest xray and wait for it..... the dreaded upper GI. OMG, barium taste like crap on a stick. And then with all the moving around on that fun table... I felt like I was going to hurl! So I finally got home and then at 2, had to go to my PCP and have my EKG done, then my PCP poked and proded at me somemore, (keep in mind I'm still bloatted from the Barium and the stomach expanding crystals) and then last but not least I got to pee in a cup and have my blood drawn. UGH, all this pre-op stuff stinks!!! I'm glad its over, now all I need is my cpap machine! Less than 3 weeks and counting.
Oh the dreaded Sleep Apnea! How could you NOT fail that test its sooooo uncomfortable. I was shocked by how gross it all was. I just wanted to run out of there with that sticky stuff attached to my hair and blahh it was horrible.
Wanna hear something horrible? I wasnt suppose to have the Upper GI done and they did it anyway! I was so disgusted! I wanted to vomit and then they kept saying don't burp and I was thinking BURPING IS THE LEAST OF YOUR WORRIES! lol Less than 3 weeks for you! Yayyy! I'm less than 2 weeks and TERRIFIED lol
We're going to have to get together and take some side by side pictures eventually!

Ahhh yes the Pre-Op testing... so tiring and yet so important. Just think of how many hurdles you've crossed and BE PROUD OF YOURSELF! You are overcoming big challenges and making this happen, girlie! I am so excited for you and all that you are doing to build a new, healthy life for yourself. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/thumbsup2.gif)
