3 Months Post-Op
So, today is my 3 month surgiversary and I feel great. The picture below was taken on July 8 (the morning of my surgery) and I weighed 281.5 pounds. The top and pants were both XXL from Old Navy. The picture is a bit grainy so I apologize in advance for the quality of it.

The picture below was taken this morning in my new little black dress from Old Navy in an XL. Plus, I got a new fun short do' a couple of Fridays ago to match my new sassy personality. As of this morning I am currently weighing in at 225 pounds. That's 56.5 pounds.

Other than problems with a few foods I have had no issues whatsoever. I can't believe how far I have come in just 3 months so you know I am excited to see where I will be in another 3. Plus, I love not being hungry practically ever. I love being able to say that I have to eat to live not live to eat. Hope everyone is doing well out there and if you are currently doing the insurance required diet and the waiting is killing you and you don't think you will make it......YOU WILL! I had to jump through the insurance hoops as well. I started the 6 month diet back in August of 2007 and my 6 month diet ended on March 25, 2008 and I didn't have my surgery until July 2008 so there is HOPE. I am living proof of that!
Peace and Love,

Peace and Love,
LOL, thanks Jaci! Those puppies will slim down even more so just you wait. Hey, I thought about you this past weekend because my family and I went to the State Fair here in Texas. My sister-in-law's brother is a member of the FFA and he usually shows his heiffer but he wasn't able to go this year so we didn't make it to that part of the fair but we did see the dog show. Too cute!
Thank you Flora! I read your most recent blog and it's amazing how time can change things and we do have to remember that the surgery was just a stepping stone and that it is a tool and we have to continue to utilize it on a 24/7 basis. You are doing Great and congratulations on your upcoming wedding. How exciting!!!
