Getting the process started...
My name is Melissa, I prefer to be called Lissa or Mewitt (but only but very good friends and family). I am a Social Worker and I really love what I do. I live in Augusta with my husband, 2 doggies and 2 kitties! I hope to have kids in the near future if god can grant me the opportunity. I have the greatest friends anyone could ask for- they know who they are. My husband and I have been together since August of 2002 and we were married in August in 2007. I am lucky to have found my soul-mate so young in life. My family is very important to me- Jamie and Ryan are everything to me. Aaron and Jen are pretty much family at this point and are the best friends anyone could ask for. I have a small group of friends and I like it that way becuase they are more like family. Aimee, Caryn, Jenna and Haley, you ladies are the greatest! I am an AOII at heart and love and miss all my ladies, especially Plaza. my heart is in chi-town with her! I have just found my faith again, as a Christian and I am learning everyday. I hope to get lots of education and support.

Baby girl Morgan born 5/28/10, 2 weeks before my 1 year surgiversary. Angel concieved 09/10, lost 10/13/10, was due in June 2011. Baby #2 (our rainbow) on their way, due 7/27/11- Miley Victoria or Maddox Michael

thanks for the welcome. Are you pre-op or post-op? I go to the dietitian on Monday the 13th and I call my own dr. to set up the dr. supervised diet tomorrow. I am excited, hoping the months fly by!

I'm just over a year out from RNY and down 130 pounds...best decision I ever made!
