Hey Ya'll!

I am a little more than two weeks out from surgery and I was moved to mushy foods this past Tuesday.  I wasn't given much in the way of ideas for mushy food so I have been living on mashed potatoes and cottage cheese.  Even though I love mashed potatoes they are starting to become a little old.  So, I am wondering if I could get some ideas for some mushy foods?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if you are on purees or soft foods, but here is a great site... check it out!  And congrats on your surgery.

How do you do with yogurt, SF jello (you can add protein powder), soups, lowfat refried beans, canned chicken or tuna  made into chicken or tuna salad (if your surgeon allows it at this stage), I still had a lot of protein shakes on during this phase

I've been thinking things like soups...there are so many different kinds that its less likely to make you bored.  Plus you can add some unflavored protien powder to it.
Eggs, oatmeal/cream of wheat (also with some protien powder), also I hear of some people eating baby food, since its pre-pureed and has lots of options and often boosted nutrition.
