This is the hardest hurdle!  Keep drinking water, your protein, etc.  Around that time break out the popsicles, jello, fudgesicles!

Hopefully something helps!  Gooood Luck!

girl, i feel you. but don´t worry this is the worst part of everything. after you had your surgery you`ll be fine. get some  popcycles, drink watter with lemon,  when i was on my preop diet i was allowed to have a small piece of chicken. ask your doctor if you can have some.
I also had a chocolate protein shake that helped me a lot.  add a lot of ice and a spoon of decaff  cofe. i love it that way.

good luck, is almost over hang in there!!.

hugs.

When those horrible hungrie**** come online to OH and post post post.  Gather recipes, advice, tips and tricks and build yourself a resource binder.  Get a few books on WLS and read read read.  All of those things will help get your mind off of food, focused on the surgery and ready for the post-op lifestyle.  You can do it!!!

I found the first 4 days the hardest, after that the smell/look of food made my stomach turn... especially anything greasy/fatty - my sense of smell became very strong and I couldnt be around strong foods/perfumes etc. You will find that after time its more of a mental battle than physical - sit back and listen to your body and see what its telling you... you will find more often than not its you just wanting to eat, or your mouth wanting to chew than your body really needing something.
Keep your 'eye on the prize'... its only 10 more days for something you have been working hard for - why did you decide to have surgery? what will you gain from surgery? what did you go thru to get this surgery? is eating something now worth risking you having surgery? Find things to distract you - evenings are always hard when you are home... get a book, get some movies, call a friend, clean out a closet, go for a walk, go to the mall... find things to keep your mind busy until bedtime so you are not focused on food.
