did it take you to hear from the insurance company after you submitted your info? I can't stand the wait!!!

3 weeks. I was just approved today. I submitted on 8/27

Call and ask the insurance company how long until you will hear from them.   I did.   They told me 4 weeks, I had a response in 2-1/2.   GOOD LUCK!!!!

After I gave all my papers to my surgeon's office, they said it might take up to a week. And? I called back that same day and they said I was approved. So, a few hours! Technology, eh? It did take a week or two to get my official "letter" in the mail, though.

Took 24 hours, but my insurance co told me they approve/deny with in 24-28 hours, so that seems to be the norm for them.

I have Blue Cross and they approved in less than 2 days.

It took mine 1 month and 1 day!  I called them every other day after 3 weeks!  I would call and ask!  Good luck!
