Update on my 5k

Well first of all it was totally awesome. All I kept thinking was that this time last year I was trying to train to run a 5k and was just too out of shape. What a difference a year makes!!!

So here is the good news and the bad...

The good news...
I ran quite a bit of it. I ended up going between 3-4 minutes of running and a couple minutes of walking, but that's a lot more running than I expected because I had to tackle quite a few huge hills.

I beat my predicted time by about 15 minutes!

I had a fantastic time and can't wait to do it again.

And Now for the bad news...

since it was a predict run and I beat my predicted time I won't get as many points for my team( I'm still stoked about beating my time though).

Your all going to have to wait for pictures from the race. I'm still using an old fashioned camera so I have to wait for the film to develop. I f you just want to see updated pics of me though I have a few up on my profile.

Anyways I would like to say thanks to all of you for your support. Your all awesome!!!!

Brock, you should totally do it. Not sure if you've read about this before, but there are podcast you can download to guide you through the run so you don't have to use a stopwatch, which would be really annoying at the beginning. Just google Couch to 5k podcasts

:) Let us know if you start to do it! We want reports!
