the very beginning of my journey
Hey there,
I remember feeling the same exact way!
Here is my advise:
1. Contact your insurance company, find out if they cover Weightloss Surgery, what are their requirements to be approved for the surgery.
(For Example: My insurance required a BMI of 40 or more. Or you could have a BMI of 35 with 2 or more co-morbidities (e.g. diabetes). They also required a 6month supervised diet. That I started ASAP.
2. If you do learn that you do qualify then you will have to research a surgeon in your area (That your insurance is ok with) and set up a consult with them. He will also have requirments that you must meet.
I hope this helped please feel free to ask if you have any more questions.
Good Luck :O)
