its official i am approved i got my letter today....and i have a quick question

so im so excited today after a whole year i finally have it,i am approved.....it was  along a road to this point but i have it in my hands i have the approval code and an appt with my surgeon....i can;t even explain how i feel right now...outside of my mother, 1 cousin, and my best friend know one else knows so everyone keeps asking why im so happy and can't stop smiling... i dnt know wat to tell them so i just say today is a great day......however i have a question..... when ur surgeon is  3 hours away do u still have to go there just to meet with him or is there a way around that...if not i will go,just curious?

about your cuestion. i can relate to that, i live in mexico and i had my surgery in houston tx. i had to go 2 months after surgery to see him, and 6 months afther and then a 1yr. i`m gonna skiped the 6 months appoiment `cuz ther is no problem. but i`m `planning to got meet him in january.
but I have a dr. here that can help me out if i have any problem and he do all my labwork here. so don´t worry about that your Dr. is very close to home. hahaha.

Hi. First off congrats! Thats great news! My surgeon is 4 hours away in a different state and I had to go down there and meet him and since it was my mom, my  dad and I that were all doing it they let us do it all that day so we wouldnt have to keep driving back and forth. But yes my appointment is next fri for my 2 week post-op and then we will have to go back at 3 months and 6 month.. and so on.

My surgeon is a little over 2 hours away and initially I did have to go and meet him and also for my one month follow up but now they will do my 3, 6, and 12 month over the phone, fax or email, so just talk to your surgeon's office and see what they can work out with you.  Congrats!!!!  and keep on smiling!
