New to the 20s board in Sacramento

Hello All-

I am so happy that I found this board, I have been searching for people my age that I can relate to. I am 27 and live in Sacramento. I had the VSG surgery on June 24th and I lost 33 pounds the first month, but my second month has been almost a total stall. What do I do?? I really hope my weight loss is not over!! I am watching my calories (about 600 a day) and high protein with very little carbs. I would love to meet people on the board, and even better to meet people in Sac.

Anyone attending the OH Sac Event this weekend?

Welcome to the board Lisa! I'm down near the Modesto area. Congrats on your surgery- don't worry about your stall, we all lose at different rates. Are you taking your measurements and photos? Those help tremendously!

I can't make it to the OH event, but I'll be at the State Fair with one of my FFA kids!

Hi Lisa! Welcome to the Board. I am also in the Modesto area. I know the VSG is different, so unfortunately I don't have a lot of advice for you there. But keep doing what you are doing, excercise if possible, and drink lots of water. I was trying to go to the conference this weekend, but I won't be able to make it. Bummer!
